Pastor Bruce Carter is a life resident of Illinois. He shares his testimony of Grace, Mercy and Love from our Heavenly Father through his 26 years of preaching and his current service as Pastor of Gethsemane Christian Church, Rockford, Illinois. Pastor Carter is a loving and exemplary man of God, which is reflected in his marriage of 34 years, three children, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law and seven grandchildren. His devotion to God and his family is a supreme example of faith, love, and integrity. He is an avid scholar of the Bible, a student of Hebrew and Greek Languages, and a retired professional. Pastor Carter attended Christian Life Bible College in Mount Prospect, Illinois, to broaden his theologian knowledge for preaching the Gospel and leading the flock of God. Through his studies, Pastor Carter has formulated several counseling and Christian courses of study which he freely delivers to parishioners.

Pastor Carter is the founder of B. Carter Ministries, residing as President/CEO of the Christian faith company designed to empower humanity through spiritual guidance from the Holy Word of God. He is a community activist, volunteering and spreading the Gospel of Jesus through several missionary venues.
Pastor Carter started “The Word of The Day”, a conference call ministry which attracts Christian listeners from more than seven states nationally and provinces of China. He has been featured in several media outlets for his efforts as an “Inspiring” man of God. Pastor Carter is also co-founder of Students Seeking Success, a non-for-profit Christian based educational tutoring service for school age students.
Carter has traveled our nation performing Christian ceremonials and delivering prolific teaching and preaching messages and was honored for his community service.
Pastor Carter has a passion for Christian centered marriage and God’s purpose for the family unit. His commitment to counseling families both in marriage and training youth in the ministry of Jesus Christ is indicative of his calling to preach, train, and teach, for the edification of the Saints, and for the full work of the ministry in Christ.
