An “acrid” taste in the mouth is often referenced as pungent or overwhelming and usually not welcomed. This bitter taste in our CUP can leave many asking the question, “What have I done?” A Bitter CUP makes us wonder, why some people who have experienced the same situation can taste and swallow, while others can taste and complain.
The proper mindset of “not be troubled” or in this case “taste and swallow” your Bitter CUP, is knowing the Password to the proper domain. When we are troubled, our minds become anxious, distressed, and worried leading to mental malfunctioning. Our brains become overloaded with neurotic episodes which shift our attitudes and behaviors. We become sporadic in our decisions and experience pain throughout our bodies; eventually leading to an overloaded nonfunctioning system “shut down” due to trouble, trouble, trouble! Exhale Christians, your “heart” which is your Spiritual Mind, is PW Protected by JESUS! Collect stones as you battle your flesh to refresh your memory with The Comforter himself, the Holy Spirit.
Recall John discussed three mindsets of human beings in 1John 5. The carnal man, the natural man, and the spiritual man. The Carnal man confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord but lacks wisdom in exercising proper faith in addressing fleshly temptations. The Carnal man seeks the cares and lust of the world to gratify the flesh resulting in an unfruitful life. The Natural man does not believe in Jesus Christ, and therefore lacks wisdom because he is still lost in sin having never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, the Messiah, the One and Only True Son of the Living God. The Spiritual man however believes and confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and understands that he has been reborn through the baptism by the Holy Spirit of God. Recall Jesus promised the disciples baptism by the Holy Ghost (Acts2). JESUS sent His Holy Spirit to PW Protect our Spiritual Mind.
The Holy Spirit enables us to access a Doman of Gifts only God the Father can grant. Your Bitter CUP is a reminder of what YOU can access when you use the PW. When our PW is in use, the attributes of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5), are reflective in every action, decision, planning, and strategy we develop. The gifts of the Holy Spirit begin to surface, such as power to defeat our enemies, faith in times of trouble, the word of wisdom to make sound and rational decisions, the word of knowledge to strategically think matters through, and more (1 Corinthians 12). This PW Protected domain can only be accessed by the Spiritual human being. It is a zone within our Spiritual Minds leading to miracles, discernment of spirits, prophecy, and a plethora of peace, peace, peace! Your Spiritual Mind is where all healing from diseases occurs, and weaknesses, limitations, doubts, and fears dissipate. Your Spiritual Mind is PW Protected by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself!
So, drink your Bitter CUP. Taste it and swallow it knowing that the no matter how bitter the taste, your Spiritual Mind is PW Protected, and YOU have the Password to access the Spiritual Domain of “gifts” essential to remove any mountainous trouble in your path, His Name is JESUS! Recall His words to us, “…Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let them be afraid…”John 14:27 NKJV. Alleluia!
