COLD CUP – REMAIN COOL TO RULE!

 

The workplace is a great example for understanding a system of task sand goals aligned to meet a specific outcome. Whether these outcomes are directly or indirectly aligned to attaining profit margins, the essential purpose for every position assigned to a respective role is to “produce” or perform the “work” necessary to yield a profit. Workplace leadership requires in-depth knowledge, distinguished experience, and keen skillsets for training and supporting the workers essential to producing the work. In Christian Discipleship, we are all expected to take the lead in performing and monitoring the “work” profitable for the ministry Christ has assigned to us. However, we must add an attribute so that wisdom will always remain at the forefront of every decision, action, and directive; C.O.O.L. This attribute is the only factor separating “access” from “desire”. C.O.O.L. is an acronym for Confidence-Obedience-Obeisance-Lord. In “Disciple” terms, this means; execute faith in obedience and reverence to the LORD, Your COLD CUP is sending the message to execute in the absolute. Remain “cool”to rule. Collect “sticks” as you experience a period of Spiritual COOL to Rule”. In this Spiritual state of mind, every worry, doubt, anxiety, and stressful thought is left behind in the flesh. No, you don’t need sunglasses, an elite status car, a corner office on the top floor, a title badge, or a quarterly bonus to effectively lead in God’s workplace. You only need what it takes to access God, C.O.O.L

In the book of Proverbs, the Lord teaches us that He is wisdom and understanding, and that wisdom rest in the heart of him that has understanding (Ch 4:7 & Ch14:33). He explains in the parable of the seed and the sower that the field is the world, the sower is the Son of man, and the good seed are the children of the kingdom. (Matthew 13) As God’s children, we must be about our Father’s business. There is much “work” to be done! As leaders is this “work”, we must remain confident in Jesus, remain obedient to Jesus, remain in obeisance to Jesus, and give reverence to the Lord Jesus. In all these attributes, we access what is necessary for the profiting of God’s Holy Kingdom by faith. Why? Because faith without “works” is dead. In the Holy Spirit of God, we must know that our “work” in the ministry is a form of leadership. Your COLD CUP is saying, “Remain COOL to RULE!” Perform your “work” with humility and wisdom in Christ Jesus. Recall when the Lord sent the prophet Samuel to anoint David King of Israel, this was based on the content of David’s heart. David’s leadership skills, warrior mentality, and tenacity were all products of David’s heart. David loved the Lord and is known as a man after God’s heart. His access to rule God’s people was given by the Lord in the season of David’s confidence, obedience, and obeisance to the Lord. C.O.O.L., C.O.O.L., C.O.O.L.

So as Christian Disciples, resume your leadership role in God’s workplace, the “world”. Consume this COLD CUP and Remain COOL to Rule! Collect Sticks, and access everything you need from God to perform the work of the ministry the Lord has assigned to you! Be C.O.O.L
