HOT – Burning Tongue

When we consume the contents of our “CUP” and the temperature is HOT, our flesh and temperature rises. These heated moments yield a burning desire to respond “instantly” to cool the Tongue! Recall God’s message, be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19).

When your CUP is HOT, collect stones and prepare for battle. The tongue is an unruly member of which no man can tame, but Almighty God is NOT a man. God can tame our tongue, and turn the heated fire in our CUP into vapor!! He presents to us in Galatians 5; Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. This means, walk in His Word, not your words. This means, His Word is a lamp unto your feet, and light unto your path. Without His Word, your words are meaningless and lack direction and discretion. So, collecting stones before you engage in “verbal” combat will ensure your “Hot” and fiery trial (challenge) will be quenched with the Word Of God!

Proverbs 15 states, a gentle answer turns away wrath. You will always know if your flesh kindled the heat in your CUP because God, Who is a Spirit, will Not get the Glory. To turn the HOT into Vapor, add stones. Stones are part of the Rock (Jesus Christ). Once added, the flesh will decrease and the Spirit that dwells within us will Glorify God Almighty! Glorifying God produces an inward warmth of the Heart, Mind, and Soul which will bring the flesh (the Body) into subjection. HOT C.U.P. Consumed Under Pressure
