Through the past year, every human being living on this earth has had to endure many tests, trials, and tribulations. Our daily lives have been altered since the pandemic began and resulted in the loss of life for so many of our loved ones. This extremely intense situation has caused many of our fellow Christian Soldiers to panic and lose sight of what the message from God is truly stating. “…our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased…” (Psalm 115:3 KJV) God wants us to transition our panic into “pacing” as we trot our way through this Christian Marathon! The sweat on our brow is an effect from the excessive heat we have taken in from our HOT CUP! When our CUP is extremely HOT the excessive heat can result in a rise in body temperature. This intense heat and pressure can cause our bodies to boil like a tea pot! In other words, SWEAT! Be encouraged, sweating is a good body function essential to maintaining your “COOL”. Collect Sticks as you navigate this drought season, we are all experiencing. As Christians, we are all praying, also known as “sending up the timber” to our Heavenly Father, Elohim! However, we must remember, a Marathon is a “Long Race” and requires an adequate “pace” to finish. Run on Christians, Run on!
Biological studies of the human anatomy report that humans and horses are the only mammals capable of long-distance running due to their ability to sweat! Yes, sweating is good for your health as it regulates your body temperature. The Word of the Living God provides us with profitable teachings on our Christian Race. The race that is set before us must be ran by releasing excess baggage and maintaining a consistent steady pace in our stride. In the book of Hebrews, the Apostle Paul denotes the importance of running this race with patience. (Hebrews 12:1) It is essential to know that pacing is an indicator of your level of tolerance and patience to endure the longevity of race, as Solomon purports in Ecclesiastes 9:11, “the race is not to the swift”. Pacing our spiritual race is essential to our ability to finish. When we pace our race, our trot generates a rhythm like the timing of a heartbeat. It is unique to the individual runner’s ability and conditioning. Our HOT CUP is letting us know just how much our spiritual conditioning and training is paying off! Collect Sticks, pace your race, and Run on Christians, Run on!
Be encouraged Christians, Christ is leading the way! Let us not panic but continue our prayers without ceasing. Let us not become weak but gain our strength by receiving our anointing from the Holy Spirit. Let us follow Christ and not the world when we face crossroads and let us give thanks to God Elohim in all things as we navigate the course the Lord has placed before us. This is the pace of you race. Prayer-Anointing-Christ-Elohim! So, consume your HOT CUP and remain “COOL” in the process. Recall the Apostle Paul wrote how he finished his race. (2 Timothy 4:7-8) While running this Christian marathon, we will encounter much adversity, raging animosity, troubles, heat, obstacles, and nuisances, but keep running! Continue your pace and steady your stride. Believe and know that you are in the number of Saints that no man could number! The Apostle John saw and wrote this vision of Saints around the Throne of God in Revelations 7:9. Pace your Race and shout Alleluia, when the Saints of God Go Marching In!!
…But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course (race) with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord, Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God…Acts 20:24
