Pride comes before a fall. But what is pride? Pride is defined as being high-minded; showing one’s self above others. Another definition states pride is a conceited sense of one’s superiority. Pride has caused the fall of many great and gifted individuals. Saints remain humble, so God can bless you and take you on a whole new level of opportunity.
SCRIPTURE
Proverbs 16:18
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
PRAYER
Wonderful God, I ask that you allow me to remain humble. Help me Father not to be prideful of the things which you given unto me. Help me to be reminded that the Lord gives, and the Lord can take it away. In Jesus Name. Amen.

The Lord is Good and Worthy to be Praised!! He hath made us and not we ourselves!! We ought not to think more of ourselves. Romans 12: 3 says – to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Pride is the trick of the enemy, for God formed us for His Glory and not for our own!!
