Sweetness is often referenced to describe a pleasant experience as well as having a sensuous, sweet impact on our natural taste buds. In both instances, the mere notion of “sweetness” can generate a “smile” and a sense of delight! Your Sweet CUP is delightfully sending the message to “smile” because God is smiling upon YOU! You have delighted yourself in the LORD, and He is granting you the desires of your heart. Your godliness and honest actions have caused God to bestow peace and blessings in your life. This pleasurable “sweetness” is a direct result from God smiling upon you first! A smile from God is a nod that He has heard and has performed what you have petitioned from the heart. Smile, and transform the atmosphere into Joy!
God is the agent of change, turning all despair into “joy” when we delight ourselves in Him. God is not a man that he should lie. He wants to see us “smile” and transform our environments by rejoicing in our SAVIOUR Jesus Christ! However, we must first eradicate those “fleshly” heart desires which prevent “perfect” works of the ministry from materializing. The heart cannot house evil and good simultaneously; it only has room for one “type” of desire at a time. Collect sticks, and rid yourself of egotistical, self-centered, arrogant, plotting, manipulating, impulsive, envious, and disingenuous schemes. Self-gain evil desires only lead to one outcome, despair. Once the heart is cleaned, The Lord himself will hear, smile, and perform! For every good and perfect gift is from above…(James 1:17) Recall the Apostle Timothy sharing what is good and accepting in the eyesight of God our Saviour. Timothy speaks on the importance of praying for those in authority and leading a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.… For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour (1Timothy 2:1-6)
Our Heavenly Father can only hear us when we seek His Face! As Christians, we must come before the Lord with an open heart, humbled and clean, absolute and without doubt, no reservations, just sheer jubilation, believing and knowing that He sees all and knows all. The “sweetness” of these attributes generates a heavenly “smile” changing your mood to change the atmosphere! When God is pleased, our “sweet” actions are notable. Christians who are wearing “smiles” are hearing from our Heavenly Father through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our “smiles” are indicators of the context of our hearts, and yes, these are the Christians spreading “joy” wherever they go! They change the atmosphere into “Joy” by simply “smiling” from the heart!
Your sweet CUP is letting you know, God has “smiles” waiting for you so “You” can change your mood to change the atmosphere to “Joy”. Collect sticks and do your part! …Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. (Psalm 37:4) … Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. (Proverbs 16:3) Sweetness in our CUP reminds us that what makes us “smile”, is God’s smile upon us! Consume your “Sweet CUP” and notice the sweetness your heart begins to generate in every “smile “you make. Smile, the Creator of the world is watching!
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. [1 Timothy 2:1-6]
And hereby we know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. [1 John 3:19-22]

Thank You Lady Angela for sharing your “Sweet Cup”, for Proverb 15:13, says “A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, But when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken. No one would argue that a “cheerful face” and a “happy heart” is a natural outcome of a life, in harmony with the plans and the purposes that God has, for those who trust in Him. Most of us, know that living out of harmony with God’s plan for our lives, can and will place a strain on us, as we strive to have a true relationship with the Father. This, in some cases can, even lead to a real “heartache.” However, we can be Thankful to God that, “What we share with others on the outside, “A Smile”, is ultimately based on what we are feeling on the inside.” The Love Of God. Amen
